There are many turning points in my life. The first is after working in an office job for 2 years I knew that career field was NOT for me. I failed at living a healthy lifestyle, it was all about doughnuts and redbull (not joking) I lost my way and had to make significant life choices to get back to fitness. The second was in 2012 when my mom passes away from cancer... She was so brave, even in her weak physical state, she was so strong in her mind and soul and faced death with no fear. A constant question I ask myself is "what would I do if I were not afraid?". The third was raising my 3 boys... what kind of life do I want to show them and live as a family... the answer lead to opening up Black Goat Fitness!
I am a firm believer in hard work and community, I have become a successful athlete and entrepreneur because of that mindset. When I am not being a mom to her three boys or at the gym, I love to be outside on a lake or river beach, or on her paddleboard. I also enjoy Spartan Races and lots of coffee! Through Black Goat Fitness, I strive to educate, inspire and encourage people to live better every day through fitness, nutrition and lifestyle.
